Portraits and studio-style photos
8 questionsWhat is the Pendid portrait or studio workflow?
It transforms a suitable source photo into a more polished portrait or studio-style visual using the selected creative direction.
Can I use it for professional profile photos?
Yes. Portrait-oriented workflows can be useful for professional profile, business and polished personal images.
Can I use it for family or lifestyle portraits?
Where the available styles fit the use case, portrait workflows can support personal, family and lifestyle-oriented visual directions.
Does the workflow try to preserve identity?
The goal is to preserve the recognizable identity and main characteristics of the subject while changing the setting, lighting or presentation. Generated results still need human review.
What should I check in an AI portrait?
Inspect facial features, hands, hair, clothing, jewellery, accessories and other fine details before final use.
What kind of source photo works best?
Use a clear image with good visibility of the subject, reasonable lighting and a clean enough frame for the model to understand the important features.
Can I edit the portrait result?
In supported flows, yes. You can describe a targeted change while protecting identity, clothing or other details that should remain stable.
Is an AI portrait guaranteed to match the person exactly?
No. Generative editing can introduce differences. Always review the result carefully when identity accuracy matters.
Logo concepts
5 questionsCan Pendid create logo concepts with AI?
Yes. The logo workflow can generate initial logo or logotype ideas from a brand name, industry, style, colour direction and creative brief.
What is the difference between a logo and a logotype?
A logo can include a symbol or broader visual mark, while a logotype focuses more directly on the designed written form of the brand name.
Can I choose colours and a visual style?
Yes. Use the available controls and brief to define colour direction, style, brand personality and visual references.
Is an AI-generated logo ready for trademark registration?
Not automatically. Before formal use, review legibility, originality, similarity to existing marks, print behaviour, small-size performance and trademark risk.
Should I check the lettering in an AI-generated logo?
Yes. Generated lettering can be inaccurate or visually inconsistent. Brand names and final typography should be reviewed carefully.
Editing, upscaling and background removal
6 questionsHow does AI image editing work in Pendid?
In supported workflows, select an existing image or output and describe what should change and what should remain unchanged.
What is targeted or guided editing?
Where a workflow supports targeted editing, you can identify a specific area and combine that selection with a clear text instruction to focus the requested change.
How do I write a better edit instruction?
Replace vague requests such as “make it better” with a concrete change. For example: “Make only the background brighter; keep the product, angle, colour and packaging text unchanged.”
What does image upscaling do?
Upscaling creates a larger, clearer version of an image. It can be useful for AI outputs, product images, portraits and smaller source files.
Can upscaling perfectly recover missing detail?
Not always. It can improve presentation and apparent clarity, but it cannot guarantee exact reconstruction of information that was never present in the original image.
What does background removal produce?
The tool separates the subject from the background and creates a transparent result suitable for product design, banners and later editing. Check hair, glass, mesh, soft shadows and fine edges after processing.
AI video, storyboards and frames
28 questionsWhat does the Pendid Video Workspace do?
The Video Workspace provides an integrated AI video path for storyboard planning, project prompts, start and optional end frames, and short video generation from an image.
How does AI storyboard creation work?
Describe the video idea and visual direction, then choose the available project settings. Pendid creates a multi-panel storyboard so you can review scene order and visual progression before final generation.
How many storyboard panels does Pendid create?
In the current workflow, storyboard planning can use one visual panel for each 5 seconds of selected project duration. Longer projects therefore use more panels to describe the sequence.
How long can the storyboard description be?
The current storyboard brief supports up to 1,200 characters. A clear description of the subject, action, visual style and sequence is usually more useful than a long set of conflicting details.
Can a storyboard generate prompts for the project?
Yes. Storyboard scenes can be turned into a set of prompts that can be saved and reused during later project steps.
What are saved video project prompts?
Saved prompts keep scene descriptions connected to a video project so you can return to earlier ideas without rebuilding every scene instruction from scratch.
What does video-frame creation do?
It creates the visual material needed for image-based video generation. You can build a start frame and, when useful, an optional compatible end frame.
Which aspect ratios are available for video-frame creation?
The current frame workflow includes 1:1, 3:2 and 2:3 options. Choose the ratio based on the intended composition and final use.
What is the difference between standard and advanced frame creation?
Standard is intended as a more efficient path, while advanced options can provide higher control or quality. Availability depends on the current product configuration and account access.
What are start and end frames?
The start frame is the required first visual state for image-based video generation. The end frame is optional and can provide a visual target for how the sequence should finish.
Is a start image required for AI video?
Yes. In the current image-based generation flow, a start image is required.
Is an end image required for AI video?
No. The end image is optional and is useful when the final visual state or destination of the motion matters.
Which image formats can I upload for video frames?
The current interface accepts PNG, JPEG or JPG, and WEBP images for start and optional end frames.
Can I reuse recent Pendid images in the video workflow?
Where supported, yes. Recent account-linked image outputs can be selected again as a start frame or as material for the next video step.
How long are generated AI video clips?
Duration depends on the active model and account access. The current workflow includes 5-second and 10-second generation options where supported.
Is a motion prompt required?
No. Motion description can be optional. If you use one, keep the requested movement clear and achievable.
How long can the motion description be?
The current video-generation field supports up to 1,000 characters. If a description is entered, it must meet the minimum length shown in the interface; otherwise the field can be left empty.
What happens if I leave the motion prompt empty?
The system can use a conservative automatic motion direction when no custom motion instruction is supplied.
What should I write in a motion prompt?
Describe what should happen after the start frame. State subject movement, camera movement, lighting changes and anything that should remain stable instead of repeating every detail already visible in the image.
How do I keep a logo, label or product stable in AI video?
Explicitly state that the important element should remain as stable as possible, then review the generated clip. Generative video cannot guarantee perfect visual consistency.
When should I use an end frame?
Use an end frame when the final composition or visual state matters, such as when the subject should finish in a specific position or the camera should reach a particular framing.
Are different AI video generation modes available?
The available generation modes can vary by account access and current product configuration. The live Video Workspace is the source of truth for what is currently available.
How are AI video credits calculated?
Video usage depends on the selected operation and settings. Storyboard, prompt generation, frame creation and final video generation are separate operations, and options such as duration can affect the final credit requirement.
Do I need to accept video-specific terms before generating?
Where the product requires acceptance of video-related terms, Studio checks that status before the request is submitted and prompts you when acceptance is still required.
What format is the generated video output?
The generated result is presented as a playable video and the current workflow provides a downloadable MP4 file.
Can I return to previous storyboards, frames and videos?
The Video Workspace includes account-linked areas for relevant recent storyboards, images, generated videos and project prompt sets so supported content can be revisited.
Is AI video generation instant?
No. Video generation is a processing task and can take time. The interface shows the request state while the clip is being created.
What should I check before publishing AI video?
Review the beginning, middle and end of the clip. Check faces, hands, product shape, logos, text, object consistency, continuity and any element that needs to remain stable.

10 questionsWhat is the Pendid Studio gallery?
The Studio gallery is used to review account-linked AI outputs. The exact organization can depend on the tool that created the content.
Are all Pendid outputs stored in one gallery?
Not necessarily. Chat history, AI galleries, design projects, video-editor projects, storyboards, generated images and videos, and other tool-specific outputs can have separate history areas.
Where can I find Video Workspace storyboards and generated clips?
Video-related content is organized in the relevant Video Workspace areas, including recent or saved storyboards, images, generated videos and project prompts where supported.
What is the Pendid public showcase?
The public showcase is a separate area for selected work that users deliberately submit or publish through the relevant process.
Are all of my outputs automatically added to the public showcase?
No. Personal outputs are not automatically public. Public display requires a separate submission or publishing action and can also be subject to review.
What is the difference between my personal gallery and the public showcase?
A personal gallery is associated with your account. The public showcase is a public presentation surface for work that has been deliberately submitted or approved.
Can I download generated outputs?
Where a tool produces a downloadable result, the download option is provided through the relevant tool after processing is complete.
Is a saved project the same as a final output?
No. A saved project keeps editable project state so you can return and continue working. A final output is the exported file you use or deliver.
Are my files guaranteed to stay online forever?
No. Do not treat an online creative service as your only permanent archive. Retention can vary by tool and service conditions.
What should I do with an important final output?
Download the final file after reviewing it and keep a backup in storage you control. For editable work, also keep an exported final result separately from the project state.
