Getting started

How do I start using Pendid without technical experience?

You do not need expert prompt-writing skills. Choose the workflow that matches the result you need, provide a clear source image or brief where required, review the options shown in the tool, then check the result before using it.

Choose the right product and workflow Use Studio for content production and Architect for architecture-focused work.
Sign in to your account Plans, credits, personal projects, galleries and history can be connected to your account.
Open the tool that matches the task Product visuals, fashion, portraits, logo concepts, video, design editing or architecture each have a more direct path.
Give a clear input Use a suitable image and describe the goal, style, movement, colour, lighting or details that should stay unchanged.
Review the current request cost Metered tools show the current credit requirement before the request runs.
Review and save the result Check important details before publishing and keep your own copy of files you need to retain.
Credits and access

How do credits work in Pendid Studio?

Credits are a usage balance for metered AI operations, not a fixed price for every tool. Different operations and options can require different amounts, and the current requirement is shown inside the relevant tool before execution.

This approach avoids relying on a documentation table that can become outdated. If the cost or access rule for a tool changes, the value displayed inside Studio at the time of the request is the current reference. AI Chat follows separate usage rules.

Images & edits Credits depend on the selected operation and mode.
AI Video Storyboard, frames and generation are separate operations; options such as duration can affect usage.
Advanced modes Availability and usage can depend on account access.
AI Chat Chat follows a separate usage path from metered AI tool credits.
Current source of truth: use the Studio plans page and the value displayed in the active tool before running a request.
AI Chat

What can Pendid AI Chat help with?

AI Chat is the conversational workspace for thinking, writing and reviewing ideas. Use it for questions, ideation, rewriting, captions, campaign planning, summaries and supported image analysis. Use dedicated generation tools when you need the final image, video or design output.

  • Ask questions and get explanations or summaries.
  • Develop campaign, content and naming ideas.
  • Draft captions, product copy and content structures.
  • Review attached images where image understanding is supported.
  • Return to previous conversations through chat history where available.
AI image creation

How do I create social posts, banners, posters and covers with AI?

Use the AI image workflow for fast visual generation. Describe what the image is for, the intended audience, format, style and important elements. Where supported, reference images or brand assets can help guide the result.

Social content Posts, stories and everyday campaign visuals.
Promotional graphics Sale visuals, campaign art and landing-page imagery.
Covers & posters Visuals for articles, videos, courses, events and educational content.

What should I include in a good image brief?

  • State the main subject and intended audience.
  • Say where the image will be used.
  • Describe colour direction, mood, style and required elements.
  • Call out any product, logo or reference that should remain recognizable.
  • Check important text, numbers and brand details after generation.
Advanced image work

When should I use an advanced image workflow?

Use an advanced path when control and detail matter more than a quick everyday result. Advanced workflows are better suited to tasks with references, more complex editing instructions, composition requirements or important details that should remain consistent.

Advanced does not mean error-free. Review names, text, logos, faces, products, packaging and other sensitive details before final use.

Product visuals

How do I create better product photos for ecommerce and advertising?

Use the product visual workflow when the product itself must remain the focus. It can support studio-style presentation, lifestyle scenes, model or mannequin concepts, destination scenes and branded product treatments.

Studio-style image Clean presentation with controlled lighting and background.
Lifestyle scene Place a product into a more contextual or campaign-oriented environment.
Model or mannequin Useful for wearable and presentation-focused products.
Destination scene Combine a product with a scene or reference environment.
Brand treatment Explore placement of a logo, artwork or visual treatment on a product surface.
Custom brief Build a product-focused result from a more specific creative direction.

What kind of source image works best?

  • Use a clear image where product shape and edges are easy to understand.
  • If colour or packaging must remain accurate, say so explicitly.
  • Use a clean, high-quality brand asset when applying a logo or artwork.
  • Compare the final result with the real product before commercial use.
AI image editing

How do I change part of an AI image without starting over?

Reuse the existing output in a supported editing workflow. Describe what should change and, just as importantly, what should remain unchanged.

  • Change the background, lighting, colour or overall atmosphere.
  • Correct one specific part of a product, garment or portrait.
  • Explicitly protect important faces, products, packaging, angles or text.
  • Make smaller, controlled edits instead of asking for many unrelated changes at once.
Example: “Make only the background brighter. Keep the product, camera angle, original colour and packaging text unchanged.”
Image upscaling

How do I increase image size and clarity?

Select an image and choose an available upscale option. Pendid creates a larger, clearer output that can be downloaded or used in later workflows.

  • Useful for product images, portraits, AI outputs and smaller source files.
  • Choose an image from your device or supported account sources.
  • The current credit requirement is shown before processing.
  • Upscaling cannot always reconstruct information that never existed in the source.
Background removal

How do I remove a photo background and create a transparent image?

Upload the image and run background removal. The subject is separated from the background and the result can be used in product design, banners, campaigns and later editing.

  • Clear subjects and good lighting usually produce easier edges.
  • Hair, glass, mesh, soft shadows and semi-transparent areas need closer review.
  • Inspect the subject edge before using the result in a final design.
Image design editor

Which tool should I use when text and layout must be precise?

Use the browser-based image design editor. Unlike automatic image generation, the editor gives direct control over typography, placement, size, layers and visual elements.

  • Create social graphics, posters, covers, banners and slides in standard or custom sizes.
  • Add text, images, shapes, vectors and graphic elements.
  • Manage layer order, size, position, rotation and opacity.
  • Save projects for continued editing.
  • Use it to place final, exact typography over AI-generated imagery.
Timeline video editor

What is the difference between AI Video and the timeline video editor?

AI Video generates content; the video editor assembles and edits content. In the AI Video Workspace you plan scenes, frames and generated clips. In the timeline editor, you arrange media manually and control timing and composition.

  • Work in square, vertical or horizontal formats where supported.
  • Add video, images, text and audio.
  • Arrange elements on a timeline and manage visual layers.
  • Trim clips and control element timing.
  • Add motion, animation and transitions.
  • Save projects for later editing.
Installable web app

Can I use Pendid Studio like an installed app?

On supported devices and browsers, yes. Pendid Studio can provide an installable web-app experience where browser and device support is available.

An installed web app still uses the web-based Pendid Studio experience. Availability and the exact install flow depend on browser and device support.

Plans and tool access

How do I know which Pendid tools are available in my plan?

The current plans page and the access state inside each tool are the source of truth. Availability can vary by plan and can change as the product evolves, so this guide intentionally avoids copying a fixed commercial table.

  • Metered tools show the current credit requirement before execution.
  • AI Chat follows a separate usage path.
  • AI Video and advanced modes can have plan-specific access.
  • Storyboard, frame creation and final video generation are separate operations.
  • Free access, when available, may have different limits or conditions.
  • Pendid Architect can use its own access and plan logic.
AI quality checklist

What should I check before publishing AI-generated content?

Every AI output should be reviewed before final use. Even a strong result can contain small errors in text, product details, faces, motion, geometry or other important information.

Text & numbers Check spelling, numbers, prices, contact details, brand names and product text.
Products & fashion Compare colour, shape, print, texture, packaging and important details with the real item.
Faces & anatomy Inspect faces, hands, fingers, hair and other fine details.
Video Review motion, continuity, faces, hands, product shape, text and important visual stability.
Brand assets Check logos, packaging, typography and colour against approved references.
Architecture AI visualization does not replace construction documents, code review, engineering or professional approval.
Privacy and uploaded files

What should I know before uploading a file to Pendid?

Only upload content you have the right to use and that is appropriate for online processing. Avoid passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents, highly confidential records or other sensitive material unless a feature is specifically appropriate for that information.

  • Confirm you have permission to use uploaded photos, video, audio, logos and references.
  • Remove confidential information from sensitive projects before uploading when possible.
  • Keep important final outputs in storage you control.
  • Do not confuse a personal gallery with a public showcase.
  • Use the current Privacy Policy and applicable terms for official privacy and legal information.

Yes. The product visual workflow can be used for studio-style product images, lifestyle scenes, model or mannequin presentation, destination-scene compositing, branded product concepts and other product-focused creative work.

Can Pendid create fashion images from clothing photos?

Yes. The fashion workflow is designed to turn clear clothing photos into model-based retail and campaign visuals. Users should compare the result with the real product before commercial use, especially for colour, print, texture and garment details.

Can Pendid create portrait or studio-style photos?

Yes. The portrait and studio workflow can transform a suitable source photo into a more polished portrait or studio-style result. Identity, hands, clothing and fine details should always be reviewed before final use.

Can I make a logo with Pendid?

Yes. Pendid can help generate logo and logotype concepts based on a brand name, industry, visual style, colour direction and creative brief. Final brand marks should be reviewed for legibility, originality, trademark risk and small-size use.

Can I edit an AI image instead of starting over?

In supported workflows, yes. You can reuse an existing output and describe what should change and what should remain stable. Some workflows may also support more targeted editing.

How does image upscaling work?

Choose an image and an available upscale option to create a larger, clearer version. Upscaling can improve presentation, but it cannot always recover detail that was never present in the source image.

Can Pendid remove an image background?

Yes. The background-removal tool separates the subject from the background and produces a transparent output suitable for product design, banners and later editing. Fine edges should be checked before final use.

What is the Pendid Video Workspace?

The Video Workspace is Pendid Studio’s AI video workflow. It brings storyboard planning, video-frame creation, saved project prompts and image-to-video generation into one path so a project can move from an idea to a generated clip with less tool switching.

Can Pendid turn an image into a video?

Yes. In the AI video workflow, a start image is required and an end image can be optional. You select an available duration and model, optionally describe the motion, and the generated result is provided as a video file.

How does AI storyboard creation work?

Describe the video idea and visual direction, then select the available project settings. Pendid creates a multi-panel storyboard so you can review scene order and visual progression before moving further into frame creation and video generation.

What is the difference between a start frame and an end frame?

The start frame is the first visual state of the generated sequence and is required for image-based video generation. The end frame is optional and can provide a visual target for how the sequence should finish.

What image formats can I use for AI video frames?

The current video interface accepts PNG, JPEG or JPG, and WEBP images for start and optional end frames. Always check the active tool interface in case supported formats change.

How long are AI-generated video clips?

Available durations depend on the active video model and account access. The current workflow includes 5-second and 10-second generation options where supported, and the interface shows the required credits before generation.

Do I have to write a motion prompt for AI video?

No. A motion description can be optional. When you do write one, short and specific instructions about subject movement, camera movement and elements that should remain stable are usually easier to control than a long description of the entire image.

What is the difference between AI video generation and the video editor?

The AI Video Workspace generates storyboard elements, frames and AI video clips. The video editor is a separate timeline-based environment for arranging video, images, text, audio, motion and transitions manually.

What is the Pendid image design editor?

The image design editor is a browser-based, layer-oriented design environment for controlling text, images, shapes, vectors, placement, size and other visual elements. It is especially useful when final typography and layout must be precise.

Are my private outputs automatically published?

No. Personal galleries and account outputs are separate from public showcase features. Public publication requires a separate submission or publishing action and may also be subject to review.

Where are my projects and outputs stored?

Different tools can keep history in different places, including AI galleries, chat history, saved design projects, video timelines, storyboards, generated images and videos, and other tool-specific recent-output areas.

Should I keep my own copy of important outputs?

Yes. Online product storage should not be treated as a guaranteed permanent archive. Download and retain important final files in storage you control.

How do I know whether a tool is included in my plan?

The current plans page and the access state shown inside the product are the source of truth. Tool availability, advanced modes, credits and other entitlements can change over time, so this documentation does not duplicate a fixed pricing table.

Should I review AI-generated content before publishing it?

Yes. Review text, numbers, logos, product details, colours, faces, hands, clothing, motion, continuity and other important details. Architectural visuals also require professional review before they are used for technical or construction decisions.

What should I avoid uploading to AI tools?

Only upload content you have the right to use. Avoid submitting passwords, full payment-card details, identity documents, highly confidential material or other sensitive information unless a feature is specifically appropriate for that information.
